“IF YOU GET LOST, IT MEANS YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE” is the debut exhibition of visual artist Marina Hristova — a five-day event featuring more than 30 emerging artists, many of whom are presenting their work to the public for the very first time.
The exhibition explores how the digital environment changes our relationship with art. In a world of visual oversaturation, endless scrolling, and algorithmic engagement, artworks blur into an ocean of pixels and fleeting impressions. The gallery space is transformed into a simulation of the virtual — a chaotic network of genres, voices, and aesthetics: photography, video art, painting, sound, graphic design, poetry, fashion, models, and installations.
The lack of a unifying theme is intentional — it generates noise, within which the individuality of the artists dissolves, emphasizing a sense of fragmented, unfulfilled communication.
At the center of this visual chaos lies the “breathing room” — a zone of silence and focus, where the viewer encounters the work of a single artist without urgency or distraction. Each of the five days features a different artist in this intimate format.
The opening on June 17 will include a B2B DJ set by boon (Bonio Lungov) and YNOT (Toni Penchev), as well as a live music performance by Veles — an avant-folk/hard noise/post-rock trio composed of Kalin Dolapchiev, Velin Pozharski, and Ognyan Belstoynev.
There’s way too much here — welcome.
